Use on...

Before you start
  1. Make sure the wood is clean, dry and free from dust.
  2. Paint, varnish and woodstain coatings should be removed to help the treatment work effectively.

For the best results, use on untreated wood.

Application
  1. Give the tin a good shake.
  2. Pour into a suitable container.
  3. Use a brush to cover all the faces, ends and joints. Pay particular attention to the end grain, corners and any crevices. Ensure all holes and surfaces are saturated.
  4. Wait two hours for the first coat to dry.
  5. Apply a second coat. To completely kill and prevent wood destroying insects, apply three coats.
  6. Wait 24 hours until the wood has completely dried before carrying out repairs. After it’s dry, it can be stained, varnished or painted over.
