Before you start

Remove gatherings of moss, mould and algae with a stiff brush. Test Decking Restorer on a small area to make sure you're happy with the end results.

Application
  1. First, give the tin a good stir.
  2. Get loads of Decking Restorer on your brush and work on around 3-4 deck boards at a time.
  3. Work the Decking Restorer into the surface of the deck by scrubbing with a stiff brush.
  4. Allow 15 minutes and then re-scrub before rinsing off with clean water.
  5. One application will normally be enough, however, in cases of extreme weathering you may need to apply again.
  6. Allow the wood to dry completely (usually 2 days) before applying any oils, stains or paints.

To keep your newly restored deck looking its best, choose a Ronseal decking finish: Ultimate Protection Decking Stain for durable colour and protection or Ultimate Protection Decking Oil for protection and nourishment.

Aftercare

Cleaning

Take as much Restorer as possible off your brush and then clean it in warm, soapy water. Don’t empty any leftover Restorer into drains or watercourses. For more information, contact your local council.

Maintenance

Your decking should never be left without a stain or oil coating as this could result in it becoming damaged.
