How much cleaner and reviver do I need?

It will take you roughly 1-2 hours to do the DIY That's the same as rearranging your furniture, disliking it and then putting it back where it was to begin with.
Use on...
- Clear your deck and remove furniture and clutter.
- Clean debris and accumulations of moss, mould and algae using a stiff brush.
- Protect the surrounding plants or grass with a dust sheet.
Test Decking Cleaner & Reviver on a small area to make sure you're happy with the end results.
Decking Cleaner & Reviver may remove partially deteriorated coatings.
Be careful! Your decking might become slippery during cleaning.
- Pour the Decking Cleaner & Reviver directly onto your decking.
- Use a stiff brush and scrub the surface straight away.
- Leave it alone for 15-20 minutes.
- Use a pressure washer to wash off the cleaner and remove dirt. Work from one end of a decking board to the other in one continuous motion.
- If you don’t have a pressure washer, scrub the surface with a stiff brush and hose it down.
- Make sure you remove all cleaning residue for the best results.
- Allow the deck to dry thoroughly before applying new coatings.
Top tip:
Ronseal Decking Cleaner & Reviver can also be used to remove waterproofing treatment present on new decks; just follow the steps above. When you're done and the deck is dry, sprinkle a small amount of water on the deck and make sure it doesn't bead on the surface; if it doesn't bead then the pre-treatment is removed.
Cleaning
If any Decking Cleaner comes into contact with surrounding grass or plants, rinse them thoroughly with water.

Maintenance
Use Decking Cleaner & Reviver regularly to enhance the look of your deck. Check your deck each year and recoat as needed using either Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Stain for durable colour and protection or Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil for a natural colour and nourishment.
